Reggae Walk of Fame - Reggae Walk of Fame Museum

Falmouth P.O. Trelawny, Jamaica

We have reviewed your proposal for The Reggae Walk of Fame and Reggae Walk of Fame Museum and appreciate the care you have taken to include the Ambassadors of Reggae, the Music Culture of Jamaica.

The Royal Caribbean Cruise Line (RCCL) team welcomes the proposal and we will be pleased to work with you to advance implementation of the Reggae Walk of Fame. We consider it to be a solid attraction for Historic Falmouth Port and the Town of Falmouth in the Parish of Trelawny.

As discussed, lets begin to lay out the sequence of steps: the underwriting and promotion of the first of a series of concerts celebrating the inductees; identifying and contracting with corporate sponsors of these events; making arrangements with the artists; organizing the events, with security, maintenance, public safety, food and beverage, power and infrastructure, etc.; sourcing the physical permanent plaques to be installed, and preparing/writing the description celebrating each inductee’s biography and impact statement for our signage.

Our on site manager, Carl Hendricks, will be our point man for our side of the local organizing.    For coordinating corporate sponsors, my colleague in Miami, Miguel Reyna, will lead our team.

You may use this letter to advance discussions locally.    We expect this will take a series of meetings and discussions to pull all the necessary elements together and make this work.

Thank you for your leadership in this initiative.

Sincerely,

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.

John F. Tercek

Vice President, Commercial Development
